This policy covers the Bangla Quran app (iOS and Android) and theBanglaQuran.org website, both operated as the same product.

The short version

We do not collect any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind, on the app or the website.

What's stored on your device

The app remembers a few display preferences — your chosen language (Bangla or English), light/dark theme, and which parts of a page you've chosen to show or hide (Arabic text, translation, audio controls). These are stored only in your device's local storage. They are never transmitted anywhere, never linked to your identity, and never visible to us — we simply have no way to see them.

Network requests

To display Quran text, word-by-word meanings, tajweed markup, and recitation audio, the app fetches content from public Quran data sources, including quran.com, the Quranic Arabic Corpus (corpus.quran.com), and their associated audio delivery services. Like any internet connection, these requests inherently carry standard technical information (such as your IP address) to the servers that respond to them — this is a function of how the internet works, not something this app collects, logs, or otherwise makes use of. We do not operate our own backend or database, and no data about you or your usage is sent to us.

Children's privacy

Since no data is collected from anyone, this includes children. The app is safe for readers of any age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that does collect data — this page will be updated first, with a new "last updated" date above.

অ্যাপটি কয়েকটি প্রদর্শন পছন্দ মনে রাখে — আপনার বেছে নেওয়া ভাষা (বাংলা বা ইংরেজি), লাইট/ডার্ক থিম, এবং পৃষ্ঠার কোন অংশ দেখাবেন বা লুকাবেন (আরবি টেক্সট, অনুবাদ, অডিও নিয়ন্ত্রণ)। এগুলো শুধুমাত্র আপনার ডিভাইসের লোকাল স্টোরেজে সংরক্ষিত হয়। এগুলো কখনো কোথাও পাঠানো হয় না, আপনার পরিচয়ের সাথে যুক্ত করা হয় না, এবং আমাদের কাছে দৃশ্যমান নয় — এগুলো দেখার কোনো উপায় আমাদের নেই।

নেটওয়ার্ক অনুরোধ

কুরআনের টেক্সট, শব্দে শব্দে অর্থ, তাজবীদ চিহ্নিতকরণ, এবং তেলাওয়াতের অডিও প্রদর্শনের জন্য, অ্যাপটি পাবলিক কুরআন ডেটা উৎস থেকে কন্টেন্ট আনে, যার মধ্যে রয়েছে quran.com, Quranic Arabic Corpus (corpus.quran.com), এবং তাদের সংশ্লিষ্ট অডিও ডেলিভারি সেবা। যেকোনো ইন্টারনেট সংযোগের মতোই, এই অনুরোধগুলো স্বাভাবিকভাবে প্রযুক্তিগত তথ্য (যেমন আপনার IP ঠিকানা) সংশ্লিষ্ট সার্ভারে বহন করে — এটি ইন্টারনেট কীভাবে কাজ করে তার একটি অংশ, এই অ্যাপ কর্তৃক সংগৃহীত, লগ করা, বা ব্যবহৃত কিছু নয়। আমরা নিজস্ব কোনো ব্যাকএন্ড বা ডেটাবেস পরিচালনা করি না, এবং আপনার বা আপনার ব্যবহার সম্পর্কে কোনো তথ্য আমাদের কাছে পাঠানো হয় না।
